Beyond Car Rental Curacao

1.Rental Rates:  

Our daily Rental rates are based on a 24-hour rental day starting at the
time of rental. The minimum of 3 rental days if applicable. (Contact us for an exception)

2. Age Requirements:

Customer renting with Beyond the minimum age is 23 years old.  EXCEPTION: An under age fee of $10.00 will apply for drivers 20-22 years of age.

NOTE:  Additional exceptions may apply due to cash rentals and driver’s license restrictions. Check at time of rental for the details.

3. Driver License:

A valid driver’s license from country of residence is required.  License must have been held for at least two years immediately prior to rental pick-up date.  International driving permit (IDP) is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet to serve as a translation.

NOTE:  Maximum age may apply.

4. Payment policies:

1. Credit card/Debet Card: Mastercard or Visacard.
2. Cash (check at time of rental for the possibilities) 

5. Cleaning Policies: 

All Beyond cars are non-smoking, non-eating and drinking in the car. Our Beyond cars has to be clean inside as outside as received by return of your rental car.

NOTE: We will charge a $100,- fee if any of the above stated hasn’t been honored by our renter or evidence of smoking, eating, drinking in our cars. The fee can be payed cash or automatically authorized on your credit card.

6. No full tank policy:

The gasoline tank need to be returned as received.

NOTE: We will charge a $50,-fee if gasoline tank is not returned as received. The fee can be payed cash or automatically authorized on your credit card.

7. Cancellation & Extension Policy:

Extension rental:

To extend your Beyond car, send us a text WhatsApp message 24 hours prior to return of your car rental. Payment of your extended days will be payed when returning your rental car.

Cancellation reservation:

If you cancel your reservation more than 1 day (24 Hours) before your specified pick-up time, you will receive a full refund minus a cancellation fee of USD $150. (Excluded with tax).

If you cancel your booking less than 1 day (24 Hours) before your specified pick-up time, you will receive a 50% refund minus a cancellation fee of USD $150.(Excluded with tax)

8. Iiability, Insurances & Optional Coverages:

Liability:

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Insurance & Optional Coverages:

Insurance is not included in our daily rate and can be bought for an extra amount, which the renter will be informed of beforehand and when accepted it will be included in your daily rate of your rental car.

CDW/LDW is an optional service which, if accepted in your insurance, reduces your financial liability for damage to the Beyond vehicle, it’s parts and accessories, except for theft, attempted theft or vandalism, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. CDW/LDW may be mandatory and included in some contract, insurance coverages or preferential rates.

If CDW/LDW is declined, the customer will be responsible for up to the full value of the vehicle plus additional expenses including an administrative fee, towing expense and time loss (during repair) or disposal fee (in case of total loss). The word theft applies here to state that a rented vehicle must be returned to Beyond including tires, tools, equipment, accessories, license plates and documents.  Any such item that is not returned will be considered theft and the value charged to the renter.

Regardless of whether CDW/LDW is accepted or included, all rentals are subject to a non-waivable excess for which you are responsible in the event of damage to the Beyond vehicle during the rental (listed below). Which need to be payed immediately at return of your rental car cash or by creditcard. By agreeing with our terms & conditions we we have the authorization to charge your creditcard the total non-waivable excess fitting the category rental car.

Please note your liability for damage to or loss of the vehicle will not be reduced where you or an authorized driver are grossly negligent (for example failure to assess the vehicle’s height, driving on unsuitable road conditions, improper use of the vehicle, contribution to damage to / theft of the vehicle) and in particular, but not limited to, in the following circumstances:

• Striking overhead or overhanging objects;
• Driving into a barrier that is too low for the vehicle to pass beneath;
• Driving into a barrier in a car park before it fully opens;
• Driving on a road in bad condition without due care resulting in damage to the undercarriage;
• Driving on a beach causing damage by salt water and/or sand;
• Driving through flooded roads causing damage to the engine;
• Putting wrong fuel in the vehicle or otherwise contaminating the fuel;
• Damage occurring as a result of ignoring a warning light;
• Burning  a clutch (which requires persistent ill use) or using the handbrake incorrectly;
• Damage to the wheel rim caused by driving with a flat tire;
• Fitting unauthorized objects to the interior or exterior of the vehicle;
• Carrying especially dirty or smelly materials that require extra cleaning costs or that damage or burn the interior;
• Damage resulting from locking the keys in the vehicle or losing the keys;
• Damage resulting from leaving the windows open.
• Damage resulting from reckless driving against third party, object or your own rental car. Under reckless driving we mean, driving under influence of drugs, alcohol, driving without abiding our traffic laws.
• Damage resulting from an accident against third party, object or own rental car, regardless if it is your fault or not.

Non–Waivable Excess, Per Category:

Economic, Mid and Standard sized cars: $2000,-

Compact SUV & SUV:                              $2500,-

Pick-ups, Vans & super SUV:               $3000,-

 Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival to see if the insurance coverage of the credit card can be used as insurance for your Beyond rental car.
